The Empire Strings started ten years ago as the Empire String Quartet. The musicians of the Empire Strings have performed throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the United States in a variety of ensembles; including symphonic orchestras, chamber ensembles, and the occasional rock and roll band. Members have performed with Mistlav Rostipovitch, Aaron Copland, and Smokey Robinson, among others. Collectively, they have over twenty-five years of schooling in their art, and over twice that in professional experience.
